We knew we wanted to buy a new Wildax Motorhome and chose Maple Leisure even though there were other dealerships much closer.

They have a great reputation in the Wildax community, which is well deserved and often help out owners, even if they didn’t buy the van from them originally.

Our buying experience was excellent. Both Josh and James are very knowledgable.
Josh kept us updated throughout the buying process as timescales are often dictated by the Fiat supply chain in the current climate.

We also arranged to have our own security system fitted before we picked up the van and Maple Leisure were very accommodating.

We arranged our own WiFi components that Maple Leisure fitted for us in advance and they provided a local contact for the dashcam that we wanted fitting.

They did a great job with all of this and couldn’t have been more helpful.

The handover process was excellent and any minor snagging was resolved very quickly and conveniently.

Unbeknownst to us they even travelled back to Wildax for an extra part so that the van was finished for the agreed time.

The dealership is clearly expanding and they have built a new forecourt and have further plans to enhance the customer experience which is a testament to the fact that they run a successful business by looking after their customer needs.

I’m really happy that we chose to buy from Maple Leisure and that decision has proved to be a very sound one.

My advice to anyone thinking of buying a motorhome is to give Maple Leisure a call or pop in and speak to them in person. They’re great people who deliver fantastic service and both my wife and I cannot thank the team at Maple Leisure enough.

We know buying a van is a large investment (it certainly was for us), and the minefield of not only buying the right van, but buying from a company that you get a good feeling from, not just to get the sale, but almost go along on the journey with you. Well this is and has been our experience buying from Maple leisure and dealing with 2 cracking blokes, James and Josh. We bought our 2nd van back in January and believe me we searched all over the UK for the right model, we found it. It was the layout we wanted, low mileage and came with a few extras (all good). We are from just outside Liverpool and Maple are in Hull, so not round the corner, but we had spoken to Josh about the van, he couldn't have been more helpful - or let's be honest, us more mithering, over one thing or another. Anyway, we arranged a very cold Saturday morning and we were there as soon as they opened - the van was set up, heating on and ready for us. I can only describe the sales manner as relaxed and fun (we were there a good while tbh), we checked everything, and after a few hours did a deal that we were really happy with. We picked the van up on an agreed date and off we went. Now this for us is where Maple really made the difference... We had an issue with an electric module - James couldn't have been more helpful with tips and suggestions - long story short it needed replacing. We should have been on a ferry on the Friday, but Sunday night we drove up and stayed in a nearby pub carpark ready for Monday morning - they had a new module collected, delivered and fitted in a couple of hours. They even went out of their way and leant us a car to go and get some shopping and breakfast whilst the van was in!! So we drove away and headed for Spain, another niggle occured just outside of Bordeaux, and after a call with James he sent us photos and advice to try and solve the problem.. there was still an issue but we got down to Spain and back. We booked the van in to get sorted when we got home and it was no small job, but once again Comms with James and Josh was amazing, and they did a lot of chasing it get it resolved, resulting in us picking her up last night. Vans are mechanical, and second hand vans sometimes have niggles, we get that; but the absolute professionalism of James and team was above and beyond and can only praise and thank them for making our buying and after sales experience first class. We will be buying from them again as they have proven to us to stand by their vans and their claims. Thanks guys, you really have set a high standard and bar, that many other companies should emulate.

A belated shout out to Josh at Maple Leisure for his excellent service in connection with the purchase of my Wildax Aurora Leisure. He ringmastered the fitment of my Fogstar Drift 460Ah lithium battery as well as Gaslow refillable LPG 6kg cylinder, TV bracket, mud flaps and tracker.
He provided a warm welcome and hot coffee and was a pleasure to do business with - thoroughly recommend him and Maple Leisure.

Great buying experience , with Josh taking time to go through all the equipment on the Altair van we purchased . James had to get involved when we had some issues at MAN trucks , he phoned truck dealer to explain they had to check van via VIN number to get work done . The few small issues on the van conversion were sorted with a quick trip back to Maple .

We bought our Solaris XL from Maple Leisure in May this year. We had a great purchasing experience from start to finish, we dealt with Josh who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would highly recommend Maple Leisure to anyone interested in buying a camper van.

Excellent service, great people to deal with.

I became interested in the Mk 2 Pulsar 5.4m at the Scottish Caravan and Camping show in Feb. 2023. I spent the next few months frustrated by dealers who were unable / unwilling to entertain my trade in of a Westfalia Nugget Plus in part exchange. Some didn't even follow up on my enquiry.
In July 2023 after nearly giving up I made contact with Maple Leisure and received a reply from Josh by return. Within a week we had struck a deal and I collected my new Pulsar in August 2023.
A few teething problems with an engine sensor meant a delayed departure from Hull for the journey home to Scotland. Josh fixed us up with an overnight stay and the following morning we set off home. No problems since.
From start to finish I congratulate Josh and Maple Leisure for their care and service to ensure a happy outcome. I would thoroughly recommend Maple Leisure. I just wish we lived a bit closer for future service.

After combining a pre arranged meeting at Mapel Leasure with a 3 night stay at nearby Sand Le Mere holiday and touring park we were greeted by Josh who had our part exchange used campervan plugged in and ready to view. After we were left alone to view in our own time we were reunited with Josh for a full handover tour and demonstration after finding one small fault which was fixed in their fully equipped workshop in 10 minutes we used their on site facilities to top up with LGP gas and fuel before our drive home back to kent

We have recently had the pleasure of dealing with Maple Leisure and in particular Josh Waterman. I had spoken to Josh on the telephone a couple of times and met him in person at the Motorhome & Campervan Show at Lincoln. He kindly showed my wife Ruth and I around a Wildax Constellation XL. We were looking to part exchange our existing Wildax Constellation. A package was proposed with Josh confirming everything the next day. We collected our Wildax Constellation a couple of weeks later and spent 4 nights in our new van at Southwold. Having been Wildax owners previously we weren't disappointed with our purchase. Although we live a couple of hours away from Maple Leisure, you have to go where the van you like is located, regardless of distance. It has been a pleasure dealing with both Josh and Maple Leisure, nothing has been too much trouble. As Maple Leisure are a nominated Wildax Dealer, we would have no hesitation in dealing with them in the future.

First class very friendly and helpful. Josh was a great person to deal with and very knowledgeable about all aspects of our van. Would recommend highly and will be using maple for all our future van needs such as servicing and hab checks. It's important to trust the people you dealing with when it's something as expensive as a camper.

The experience of buying our Wildax Aurora from Maple Leisure was top notch. I called in when passing to just see what was available and was never pressured and left alone to look round there vast array of immaculate low mileage stock, in what was really just an initial (by chance) visit, as we were only at the thinking stage about changing our van. Fast forward four weeks and we drove away in our new campervan. In between times I had called back a couple of times with the wife (who had to have the final say on the layout). We got a very good part ex on our old one, and paid a fair price for the new one. Full service and habitation check before pick up. All in all a very pleasant experience. Sales manager James and his assistant Josh were both very helpful and clued up on all things Wildax, and not pushy at all. So if you're reading this and thinking about buying or swapping your motorhome or campervan it may well be worth calling in at Maple Leisure on the off chance. You never know, as we found out, they may just have the van you didn't realise you were looking for.
